Alton's Kitchen Opening in Cornelius

Recently, Joe Marusak of the Charlotte Observer mentioned that Alton's Kitchen and Cocktails will be opening later this month in the Jetton III retail center -- where Mia Famiglia and Charleston Chops used to be.

A friend was recently telling me about one of the owners (or chefs) at Alton's Kitchen volunteering his time and cooking at a local soup kitchen. The dude sounds like a real stand-up guy. So this means that I will be checking out Alton's kitchen soon.

Now I just have to figure out which corner Jetton III is on. Is it the one with the Harris Teeter? The one with Brooklyn South? Or is it the other one with Norman's Grill?

  1. Its in the shopping center with the Harris Teeter- and worth a try! We went for the "training night", and it was amazing! Look forward to seeing what you think about it!

  2. It's located in the former Charleston Chops/ Mia Famiglia space. They have renovated the interior so it is less formal than Chops, it looks great! Try the BBQ Shrimp its awesome!

  4. My wife and I had dinner there this evening. Excellent experience. Prime rib special was perfect, my wife's filet was done to perfection and she is very picky. Great value. Brandon our waiter was excellent and met the Chef Dan Giroux, who actively sought comments and constructive critque.

    Definately a keeper. Will be back in the near future
